news forum 

I am trying to configure a module much like the Text module where I can update my news section, but I want my users to be able to comment on news articles much like a forum without actually creating a forum.

I was thinking about using maybe a blog module or some other thing that lets me input news articles, but then allows the users to comment on.

Does anyone know of a module that might be something similar to this idea.

A great site where you could see what I mean would be comixfan.com

You can actually comment on the news articles.

I don't know of a module off the top of my head, but there is a module that allows page comments:

check out Scott McCulloch's news articles module, it's not free, but it's difficult to beat the value that he offers with his modules.
