Add Company field to register page 

How would i add a company field to the register page.

ive added the profile field but it doesnt appear on the register page

You'll need to, under User Settings (accessible from the User Accounts area, link at the bottom) mark "Require Valid Profile For Registration" and then make sure that profile property (and any others you want) are marked as required.

Optionally a 3rd party registration module would also serve this purpose if you wanted to also reskin it and/or change it up a little bit more.
