HELP! I messed up my LOGIN Page and can't login.

I was messing with settings on my dotnetnuke website (http://www.martialartsmonster.com) and I accidentally set the login setting to direct to the homepage. OK, I will admit to being a NOOB but you won't figure anything out without messing things up a few times. I used the back button to go to login page and tried loggin in. It didn't work.

Problem, there is no login container on the home page. So............ I can't login to my website as an admin or host to change it back.

What do I do to fix this problem?

Can it be done without reinstalling the entire site?

Thank you!

Re: HELP! I messed up my LOGIN Page and can't login.

In your database you can update the LoginTabId value for your specific portal to be null.  if working with portal 0, you would use the following.

UPDATE Portals
SET LoginTabId = null
WHERE portalid = 0

Re: HELP! I messed up my LOGIN Page and can't login.

If you used a dynamically attached database (database.mdf) you must attach the database so you can manage it with SQL Server Management Studio Express then you can run the above mentioned script.

I personally am not familiar with the use of Database.mdf as I do not like using it, however, I know that there is a blog on this site that tells you how to make the attachment.

Re: HELP! I messed up my LOGIN Page and can't login.

I ran the script and I checked the LoginTabId = null but I still have a missing login page.  Booted the pc also.  Any more ideas?

Something that I am puzzled by is the Portal number - I only have the default localhost and another one that I created.  What would be the portal number that I put in the script?
