Login link Redirecting to local machine URL 

Good afternoon all. I am a bit new to DNN, love it but still learning the basics. Anyways, I installed on a server named HOME. When a user (outside of my internal network) clicks on login/register, the domain name changes to http://HOME/...  after they click, and the user gets the page can not be displayed. At first I thought to simply change the alias... but I can not change the alias because it is not editable apparently. Now it does its redirection while coming from within my network as well but since its local it doesnt effect anything (yet). Any ideas? Questions?

My first guess is the alias too.  You can change the alias two ways.  One, you can edit the database directly or by using a query.  The other way is to create a new alias and while viewing the web site using the new alias, you delete the old one in Site Settings.
