Add superuser account or give superuser rights to a Windows Auth. account

Can additional superuser accounts be created in DotNetNuke 4.7?

Can Windows Authenticated users be given superuser permissions?

Yes they can Rob. The easiest way is to go into the Users table in the database and change IsSuperUser from 0 to 1 for the AD user you want to have Host privledges.

Re: Add superuser account or give superuser rights to a Windows Auth. account

Mike,

I have an domain account that I have given Super User rights. The problem I have is that I can no longer see what security roles this user is assigned to? It doesn't matter whether I am signed in using the domain account or as the portals host account. Is this functionality by design?

Kind regards,

Adrian
