Question about Header/Footers?

What is the page container?  Would this be where I would make a header and footer that can be used on all pages?  Is there even a way to make a set header/footer file that is not attached to each skin that I could use along with a skin?  Right now I have to edit every skin that I have when I want to change anything in my header or footer.  There has to be a better/easier way of doing this.  Can someone please let me know.  Thanks.

Re: Question about Header/Footers?

Unfortunately, the behavior you speak of is intended.  Do you have changes to the header that often?  What kind of changes?  There may be a way to workaround your frequent changes without having to repackage the skin everytime.

Re: Question about Header/Footers?

What about adding a module to All Pages at the top and bottom? You'll need to have Skin Panes in the right place though.

Thanks,
Rodney

Re: Question about Header/Footers?

That's what I was thinking.  That is why I wanted to know what kind of changes he makes.  Then we could determine if there is a way to accoplish this using a pane/container/module approach.  Or, perhaps a Skin Object.
