Ajax just stopped working in DNN 4.6.2...

Not sure why, but Ajax stopped working in DNN 4.6.2.  It may have began when the site was backed up and restored to a new server, but I am unsure whether it happened before, during, or after the transfer to a new web host.  Specifically, Ajax no longer works in FAQ module even after reinstalling that module - the "loading" message appears but not the "answer" it is supposedly loading.  It also stopped working in Catalook.net Store modules.  It does work fine in ListX modules, and I've wondered if ListX had caused any problems, but, I have the exact same install on my local machine and Ajax is working fine in all these modules, so I don't think it was a problem caused by ListX either.  Since we are using Catalook, we cannot upgrade to any more recent version of DNN, Catalook versions are DNN version specific and the version we have will only work with DNN 4.6.2.  It appears Ajax is set up fine in the web.config file.  There are no errors or event log entries reporting any problem.  The Ajax postbacks just initiate but never complete like something is missing, except for the ListX modules which Ajax works perfect in.  What would cause Ajax to just basically stop working altogether?

Thanks for any advice or direction,

Rick

Re: Ajax just stopped working in DNN 4.6.2...

I found the problem.  Snapsis PageBlaster was causing the problem.  I have it configured to exclude the ajax file extensions, and even set it to exclude the FAQ module path entirely, but had to actually remove PageBlaster from the web.config file before Ajax would work on FAQ or Catalook.  Anyway, it's not a problem with DNN or ListX, it's a PageBlaster v2 problem of some kind.  The compression and caching are more important than Ajax functioning on FAQ module or Catalook, so for now Ajax is disabled in those modules and leaving PageBlaster running...
