Effect of No Friendly URLs

I have searched the various Forum entries and still have a question regarding Friendly URLs.

What is the impact on site operations if Friendly URLs are NOT implemented?

Are any Modules and/or features of a module impacted? .. such as Syndication or other notification options?

Thanks,

Hans

Re: Effect of No Friendly URLs

If you disable friendly URLs the site SHOULD function in the same manner, however, the true impact will most likely be with search engine compatability.
