upgrading on godaddy 

i have installed DNN on the godaddy. but there one problem as of now the version they are installing is 4.8.0 and i would like to have 4.8.2 which is the latest one. so can any one tell how to upgrade on the godaddy server.  and i tried calling them also they said they could not help us with that. i have only ftp access to godaddy.

Hi Mujahed,

I don't have a GoDaddy account so I can't tell you for certain, but I have heard from a number of people in the community that it is either not possible or _VERY_ hard to get DNN updated over at GoDaddy.  If you try to do it through FTP at GoDaddy, make sure you have a Native Backup of your DNN site otherwise, if it crashes (and there's a big chance it will at GoDaddy) you can restore it.
