Double Entries Showing Up in Site Log 

We are using DNN 4.6.2 and are experiencing double entries in the site log for single page visits.  The entries are odd, the first entry would be the normal url and the second entry adds "&spacer.gif" to the end of the same url.  It's very odd and I'm not sure what would cause this, something in the skin?  Or something with caching?  It does this with the log set to database log or file-based log and specific to just the site log only.

AFAIk this has been solved in ~4.8.0, therefore I suggest to upgrade to latest version.

We are using Catalook.net Store which is DNN version specific.  We cannot upgrade due to this without upgrading Catalook and redoing some major customizations there.  Not a project the boss is willing to pay for at this time as it was quite a major undertaking to customize Catalook the first time.  Is there a way to fix this in DNN 4.6.2 without upgrading?
