registered user subdomain

My client wants to have the following.  Kindly suggest how to achieve it in DotNetNuke.

For every registered user, they should be able to have their own landing page, which would be called as ‘dash board’. From here, they can view.. What ever articles / Stories or comments they have written / posted in this portal. Ex. Screen name is “username ”
Their URL should look as http://username.vsportal.com/

Re: registered user subdomain

HAven't given it a long thought, but to me it sounds like some custom work:

- to make sure the URL is handled properly

- some module(s) displaying the dashboard

You might be able to write an HTTP HAndler for the URL stuff, but there might be better solutions too.

Does this help a bit?

Re: registered user subdomain

Thanks for your suggestion. Kindly extend tips on customization, along with few examples.

We are in the process of suggesting DotNetNuke for setting up a portal.

We find this feature as complex one and if you help us in providing necessary support, we can suggest DNN to our client.
