Accepting .bz email

How do I configure my user settings to accept emails that are .bz?  I see that there is a string of code - but I don't want to mess anything up.

Thanks.

.bz e-mail extension

I'm going to try this again. . . has anyone else run in to the problem of not having the .bz extension accepted on log-ins to DNN, i.e. name@work.bz.  Upon registration my site returns the message that this is a non-valid address.

Thanks.

Eileen

Re: .bz e-mail extension

For a more robust regular expression, check out Eric's blog post on the subject (www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1388/Default.aspx).  However, with the default pattern (\b[a-zA-Z0-9._%\-+']+@[a-zA-Z0-9.\-]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}\b), name@work.bz should (in fact, does) validate, so there may be some other issue here.  Is the default pattern that I listed there what you are seeing?

Hope it helps,

Re: .bz e-mail extension

Brian,

Thanks.  I checked the pattern and mine is exactly the same.  So then I retried to register the usuer - and it accepted the address.   who knows. . . .

Thanks for the response.

Re: .bz e-mail extension

My domain is a .bz domain,( hyde.bz - putting the finishing touches on it this week) and I don't have any problems with the .bz extension sending through the smtp mail server or accepting users registrations with the extension.  It must be another issue with your registration code.
