A Couple of Simple Issues... Help anyone??

DNN Community,

Our web development group has recently setup our first DNN site!  All together it was a pretty painless process.  There are a couple issues that need to be resolved before the project is completed.  Here they are:

  1. Admin notifications do not seem to be working.  We need the administrator to be notified when new users register.  Notifications to "users" are working, but we can not seem to get an email to be sent to the admin when a new user signs up.  Any advice??
  2. When logging in and clicking on the "remember me" checkbox, the system never remembers anyone.  Each time coming back the user has to provide their username/password again.  Although I'm not sure what the function of the remember me checkbox is supposed to be.  Maybe someone could explain.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Re: A Couple of Simple Issues... Help anyone??
  1. The admin notifications are are going to the admin account set at Site Settings > Advanced Settings > Other Settings > Administrator. Do you have a valid email address specified for that admin?
  2. See this blog post by resident security expert Cathal Connolly.
