Portal Aliases

I'm administering a site with only a single portal; the DNN installation is located at somesite.com/dnn, and another domain, call it example.com, redirects to somesite.com/dnn. However, I want the installation to show up as being example.com; i.e., when you go to example.com, you should not be redirected to somesite.com/dnn. I know an iframe can be used for this purpose, but this is not what I need. I need the DNN installation to show up example.com. How can I do this? I've tried using a portal alias for example.com, but it still redirects to somesite.com/dnn.

Thanks!

-dan

Re: Portal Aliases

Make sure the alias is www.example.com/dnn.  Make sure the DNS record for www.example.com points to the same IP address.
