Migrating MCMS 2001 to DNN

Does anyone have any experience migrating Microsoft Content Management Server 2001 to any version of DNN?  Has this ever been done / attempted?  What tools were used? What were the road blocks faced during the migration?

Thanks.

Derek

There is no migration path between them.  Cut and paste content, configure everything else as new.

Re: Migrating MCMS 2001 to DNN

I realize that there is no clear cut path, but I was curious if anyone has attempted scripting the conversion of data from any other portal system into DNN.  Can data be injected into DNN via bulk loading?

Thanks.

Re: Migrating MCMS 2001 to DNN

The only bulk importing into DNN that I have performed was via VB and C# windows-form applications.

Create and run the tool on local development machine, then migrate DB and files up to production server.

Re: Migrating MCMS 2001 to DNN

Can Text/HTML Blocks with Corresponding DNN Pages be autogenerated through DB Inserts alone, or do pages and module instances have to be created via the DNN interface itself?

Thanks.
