Notify Settings

Is there a way to configure when a notification gets sent after you setup a new user?  I setup my smtp settings and tested it and it works fine. I added a test user and the notify was checked but the system has not yet sent an email with the random assigned password. can I modify those settings?

Thanks

Re: Notify Settings

please make sure, the admin user specified in portal settings has a valid email address. use Admin:: Newsletter (Bulkmail) module to test sending emails.

Re: Notify Settings

forgot to mention: you might eventually solve the issue in Newsletter by using the ReplyTo option and an appropriate sender, but for system messages you need to provide a compliant email address for the portal administrator account.
