what are the things needed to replace the present site and put DNN 

Hi there

Previoulsy i have a site in asp.net and now i made a site completely in DNN so can you tell me what are things needed to be done. what are the settings that are needed to be done in the Hosting Setting tab in DNN. what should be done to GUID. How to retain the ranking in google. Search engine.

TO maintain google ranking etc, you will need to take consideration into how old links will be handled when your site is visited.  You might look at something like URL Master to handle the 301 redirect of old links to new DNN pages.  That will help you make the transition.

In terms of physically setting up the site, you will need to setup the PortalAlias values and then copy the site to the proper production location.  Ihave a blog on this process available on my website http://www.mitchelsellers.com
