Hiding Login?

Hi!

Is there a way to hide the login button so normal users can't see it?
I have set up a portal which is only going to be used for presentation, and people are not supposed to be able to regiser or log in.
Only the page administrators and editors will have access.

I.e. like that the editors can go to a specific url or similar? Like http://www.sitname.com/LogIn instead of the login button.

(So i can remove the login skin object )

Re: Hiding Login?

Remove it from the skin, give the people who need to login a specific URL to get to a login page.

Re: Hiding Login?

Well.. Okay, I made a page named Login, setting it visible to all users and not to show in the menu.

But the URL got a bit complicated: http://www.sitename.se/Login/tabid/82/Default.aspx

Is there a way to do the URL a little bit more userfriendly?

/Jari

There is no need for a "complicated" URL. This should work: http://www.sitename.se/ctl/login/Default.aspx without the need of a login page. The login control is loaded dynamically on the home page.
