Small Problem

I have just created my own regsitration page and added the account login to it not realising that I should have added the User Account module to it instead.

Now bwfore I realised I went to admin>user accounts>user account settings and changed the registration to my custom page.  I navigated back to custom registration page and logged out to see if it worked.  thats when I realised I had added the wrong module.  So I logged back in and deleted the account login module and added the user account module ---

Wait for it - I then logged out again to see if it had worked insofar as the registration module would appear and it does.  However I dont have a login page anymore, becuse I set the login page to the registration page and then deleted the account login module

Oh dear, how can i get a login page to appear again.  Otherwise I am stuffed

Cheers

Re: Small Problem

If it is the default portal in the database you can run the following.

UPDATE Portals
SET LoginTabId = NULL
WHERE PortalId = 0

This will clear the login tab setting and allow the default login page functionality to let you in.  You MIGHT need to restart the application for the change to become active.  You can do this by adding a space to the web.config (in a non critical area) and saving it.

s more professional method would be to check that the tab selected for the login actually has a login module on it before updating the settings - the code to do this should not be that complex.
