Re: Setting Time zones ?

I know this is an ancient thread, but I can't see where to set the daylight savings time in DNN.  I'm using 4.8.0, (I know the current is 4.8.3, but it's a value added app on by my hosting provider)  How do I go about designating that it IS daylight savings time in my timezone?

Re: Setting Time zones ?

First, about your Question is not related to the Forum Module I move your post to the "Configure it" Forum.

The Timezone setting is a setting in the Portalsetting in the Administration.  It is dependence on the web.config settings and the zone settings of the Windows system.  So if the server is english US and and the web.confing is sett to en-US too, and your portal setting is geman DNN will calucate the geman time.  Also DNN used the timezones of the users profile to calculate the posting time, if a user add any content to the portal.

Re: Setting Time zones ?

There is currently no DST setting in DotNetNuke, this is an enhancement planned for DNN 5.x
