How do I change the wording in new user emails..

Hi

I want to change the wording in the email that gets sent to a new user inf0rming him that his registration was successful. I've searched through every *.vb, *.ascx and *.resx under the admin folder, didn't find any leads.

The problem I have is that the password field in the email is blank, but the user name shows. Should I be looking somewhere else if I want to solve this problem or am I in the right path?

Any help is valuable

Best Regards
Thabang

to alter email texts, go to Languages in Host menu (o modify for all portals) or in Admin Menu (to edit per portal) and enter the Language Editor. Select the appropriate language and scroll down to "Email_*" keys. Modify and save your changes.

Re: How do I change the wording in new user emails..

Ok... Thanks for the reply..

Its not necessarily what I wanted, I didn't want to change the language, but the text. We can say, I wanted to write my own registration email, customized email.

The reason for this is, DNN is not sending the password to the new user, that field is blank. I can get the password by code, thats why I wanted to do my own email template.

Regards
