no login or cannot login

I've got the LOGIN button on the right, but when clicked it just goes to a users online  module. I don't see the login module...not sure what I did to create this prow do I get back in, and 2 long term solution.  I can't be the first person to be locked out of a dnn site!  ver 4.8.0

Re: no login or cannot login

Nope you're not the first (I answered this question for someone else just last night ). What you need to do is go into the Portals table, find you portal (if there's more than one) and set the LoginTabID back to NULL.

Re: no login or cannot login

Okay- I'm fairly new to DNN, so where do i find the Portals table?  Hosted by goDaddy.com...is it on their site?

And, then once i regain (assuming I will) control, what do I need to add to get the Login Module to work correctly (although i thought this could not happen)?
