Adding a banner to a vendor ???

Hello,

I'm a newbi on DNN 3.2.2, in the online documentation I have found some chapters about banners and vendors.

First I'm logged as "admin site". I have added a vendor without any problem. But according to the documentation, I should find a link "Add New Banner" under the block "Banner Advertising" but this one does not appear???

Any one have an idea ? Where I'm wrong !?

Thank, Gilles

Re: Adding a banner to a vendor ???
If you click on Admin - Vendors, find the vendor you want to add the banner for (click the 'All' link in the alphabetical index if you don't see it) and scroll down toward the bottom of the Edit Vendors page, the second section from the bottom is labeled 'Banner Advertising'.  You need to click on the plus (+) icon next to that section title to exand that section.  When you do, an 'Add New Banner' link should show up.

Re: Adding a banner to a vendor ???

I might be having the same issue. I follow the steps outlined by jmcwilliam; however, the 'Add New Banner' link does not show up. Its missing whether you click on Host-Vendors or Admin-Vendors and whether Host, Site, or None is checked in the Banner Advertising section of the Portal Site Setting.

I used the 4.0.2 source files (as opposed to install files) for the original setup. Is there a configuration that I missed during the setup?

Thanks, Ron

Re: Adding a banner to a vendor ???

Experience the same on two of my dnn sites,  both different versions one is a version 3.2 site and the other a version 4.3 site.

Have gone through help files, instructions on forums with the same results,  the link for "Add New Banner" is missing.

Have checked Admin/Site Settings/Advanced Setting/Other Setting/banner advertiseing: and set both host then portal, both having same results.

Please anyone need this functionality urgently.
