Block multiple access for same username

Is there any way to block access for same username in DNN? For example, if I am logged in one PC, I should not be able to login somewhere else.

Appreciate anyone's help.

Farhan

Re: Block multiple access for same username

the problem with webapplications is that they are always in an disconnected state. So you only know when a person logs actually in, and when there is activity, but when there is no activity for a while, you have no id if he just is thinking behind his pc, or went home for the day without logging out. So you should use some sort of timeout and notify the user that he is about to be logged out unless he want to stay logged on.

THe last logon date/time is saved in the aspnet tables, and is available through the userinfo class.

Re: Block multiple access for same username

Thanks Erik for the response - am I correct in stating that there is no option in DNN to do this today and we have to build it ourself?
