Copy page creates "link" between existing and new page

Hey there,

I have a running 3.1.1 version of DNN, one which the client has had for a quite some time. He recently notified me that when he tries to copy a page, thus creating a new one he gets "a link" between the existing page and the new one. So whenever he edits data on either page, he edits on both. Is there no way to copy the modules and the content without creating this link? Copying the page without the content seems to work, but then he manually has to copy each module content afterwards.

Thanks in advance,

Michael

Re: Copy page creates "link" between existing and new page

Later versions of DotNetNuke (~4.5.0+) allow to select a page to copy modules from during page creation and to select for each of them whether to create a blank version, a copy or a reference (which is currently performed by "use existent content") of the content.
