Hi all

I've been trying to pass an object from one page to another.  The object is a query of the Amazon Product database and takes a while to generate plus i am only allowed to send requests to amazon once a second.  As a result i need to find a way to keep sending the data around without having to bother amazon more than once.

Whats the best way to do this and how?  My first idea what to use session variables.  Do i need to serialize the object to do this, also how do i serialize an object?

I used sessions in the end and it works fine.  For what reason would you recommend using the cache instead?  The data isn't user specific so the cache would be ok to use instead.
