Cannot select Splash Page with URL redirect. 

I am trying to add a splash page (with flash) to my site. I am trying linking to an outside URL that runs the flash. However when I set the "Link URL" on my new splash page it will no longer show up as an available page to link to under site settings for the Splash page. As soon as I take the URL link out it shows on the list of available pages. Anyone have any idea on why this page is reacting like this?
