how to change layout of website 

hey

i want to make my website using dotnetnuke,but i am new and after 2 or 3 days spending on this i still confuse or should i say get more confuse

first of all i want that i can change complete layout of the website , i mean lets say i have my own html and i can put modules accordin to my own wish

right now i can only put it between menu and footer  and there is only left,top,right ,bottom and content menu

but i want to put my own layout , i want that logo come on top then my content , menu should be on left and things like that

and how can i change the home page according to my requriment

plz there must be somthing which get me started ,

You need to get into skinning if you want to have a custom designed website. I would recommend buying a book and reading documention available on this website and only posting here when you are stuck.

This is the "official" DNN skinning guide, although it may confuse you more than anything else.

Lee Sykes has Excellent material, and he even shows you how he makes skins, personally i think this is the best method.  His Forum also offers "friendly" support if you get stuck, or just want to find out how to do something different.
