Changing Installation Location on Intermedia

Hello everybody

I am the go to guy for a small unit of a university and have been using DNN for about a month now. I am now having a problem that I can't seem to find a solution to. When I started this project, I installed the website into a folder named Community and now I'm supposed to change the name of the folder the site is in. I am not sure how to proceed with this. Can I just change the name with my FTP? What do I have to change inside the website to make it work? I'm using 04.09.00. I would really appreciate any help available with this.

Thanks guys

Re: Changing Installation Location on Intermedia

if the folder name is part of the URL, you need to add the new address as portal alias first, before you are able to alter the folder name.

Re: Changing Installation Location on Intermedia

Is that all I have to do is add the portal alias and change the folder name?
