Media guide - what would be the best way to do this?

What would be the module or way to set up the following:

I am looking to build a media guide to books, dvds, & games.

Each entry may belong to multiple categories such as - genre, director, nation of origin, etc...  I want to be able to sort by these categories and to be able to search the entries for key words.  Is there a module or something else that will allow me to do this easily?

Re: Media guide - what would be the best way to do this?

You know you can run the catalook store as a catalogue by having prices not set - http://www.catalook.net - it's got a diverse range of options which help you.

The key thing you need to look at is the management of this - while there might be some modules that allow for almost the same, the management of them and ability to import data is virtually 0, meaning you have to hand manage this. Catalook allows you to manage this via xls spreadsheet or access database and import.

Anyway that's just my suggestion - there might be others with more ideas than this though.
