is it possible to always display the second level navigation? 

hallo,

I have a website with more levels of navigation. On the menubar I always display the root navigation, and in the right column I would like to always  display the second level navigation. Is it possible without needing to build a new skin? Thanks

You would have to use a module that renders a menu, like housemenu (you can set the start tab for it)
