detecting if the current user is an administrator from a container

hi,

im currently developing a custom container and was wondering if its possible to determine if a user viewing a container is a user with editable privelages (i.e. they can add/modify module content). The reason i ask is that i want to display a small link next to the standard drop down actions controls.

thanks in advance for any help given!

Re: detecting if the current user is an administrator from a container

I've never tried with Containers, but this will probably work:

<% If DotNetNuke.Security.PortalSecurity.IsInRoles(PortalSettings.AdministratorRoleName) Then%> Admin-only Content <% End If %>

HTH,

Duc
