Change style of server controls on Master page

Hi,
I'm trying to put tabs on a website, where one tab is uniqely highlighted based on the content displayed.  What I have so far is a master page and two content pages.  Included in my master page, is a navigation menu made up of 2 <asp:LinkButton> controls which of course are linked to the 2 content pages.  The link buttons are styled from a CSS sheet where I have psuedo class definitions for "a:active" and "a:hover".  Is there a way that I can make/set specific LinkButtons to "active" based on which content page is displayed?  If not, what is the advised way of highlighting tabs to correspond with content displayed?

You can view the website in it's current state at: http://www.tercon.com/terconcontacts

Re: Change style of server controls on Master page

It doesn't look like you're working with a DotNetNuke site, so why you posted this here I'm not absolutely sure.

But...

You might make your navigation menu load a different CSSClass wrapper based on the content that is loading, or expose a property on the navigation control that allows you to set which item should be active.
