Progress Bar Position

Is that possible for me to change the display position of progress bar? I need it when i have very long page that user couldn't see what is happening when something is clicked unless the user scrolls to the end of the page.

Re: Progress Bar Position

Yes I fully agree. This is one of the negative side effects of ajax... you never know if something is happening unless there's a loading image, but then you have to know there is one, go and find it and watch it.

I'd like to see some sort of floating loading image, possibly attached to the mouse cursor, or maybe even just a change of cursor during the load, just like on the OS desktop.

I suggest adding something like this as an enhancement suggestion at support.dotnetnuke.com in the public section.

Re: Progress Bar Position

I second this enhancement - my users keep raising support calls on long pages as they don't scroll down and see the bar and think nothing is happening.

Floating image would be awesome of moving the bar to the top of the panel might be a quick, simple solution.

Thanks,
Rodney

Re: Progress Bar Position

I can't find the code that puts it on the page. It must be inside the compiled bits. If anyone can find it somewhere else, I'll fix it up to float around or do something else.
