Multiple containers in single page

Hi,

Im working on creating a page with diffrent modules on it that each need diffrent syling. I'm new to DNN so i starded by modifying the standard DNN skin. I copied it to the portals/0 folder and it works fine. Only problem i have is that that the styles don't seem to limit themselves to the modules i assigned them to.
If i change something in 1 container it shows in all modules on the page.
Did i do something wrong? or is this suposed to happen. and is there a way arround it.

Any help is much appreciated.

Re: Multiple containers in single page
The skin is the page's design template. You should use a different container for each module if you want different styling for each module.

If you do design several containers that reside in the same page, make sure you do not use the same class names in the css files or the last uploaded container.css will override the rest.

Re: Multiple containers in single page

I created container by copying the standard container folder and renaming all the files except for  container.css.

So if give a table a border in "center_container/container.css" it will give borders to every module in that pane. eventhough i only assigned it to the center module.

Hope i still make sense :P

Re: Multiple containers in single page

Using the same container.css file means that there are multiple classes with the same name in the page.

Are you familar with css?

Re: Multiple containers in single page

Yes I am familiar with CSS.

And i think i just figured it out. :P i probebly need to change some of the table class names in the ASCX files. so the classes dont interfere with eachother

Thanks for the help :)
