Re: Feedback on my Skin : comeandget.us

The first thing I would do it setup DNS and IIS to accept www.comeandget.us right now it goes nowhere.

Re: Feedback on my Skin : comeandget.us

Both comeandget.us and www.comeandget.us work for me from the UK.

Using Firebug (the Firefox developers extension) I can see some 404s for skin.css and container.css. From the page source I'm guessing you've linked the css files in your skin.ascx and container.ascx - you don't need to do this because DNN will automatically pick up skin.css and container.css files and link them for you.

Rhys.

Re: Feedback on my Skin : comeandget.us

Rhys,

Thanks for the info.  You are correct that I linked in the CSS's in my ASCX file.  I used microsoft expression to do the skins.  In order to have it render correctly I needed the CSS's linked in.  I could find any other way to associate the ASCX file with the CSS.  Should I remove the links?  Will they cause a problem?

Thanks for the heads up.. waiting your reply

Re: Feedback on my Skin : comeandget.us

Just remove all stylesheet links so long as the sheets are named skin.css and container.css or skinaname.css and containername.css, then restart the application and force a refresh of everything.
