pulling .Head out of the T/H module 

Hi Folks--

I want to pull the head class out of the text/html module.

I know how to pull the "normal" class out of the body, but how do I pull "head" out of the title?

The easest way without modifying the core would be to change the cssclass property in the title skinobject. In .ascx skinning this would be something like this:

< dnn : TITLE CssClass="put your own dummy class here" runat="server" id="dnnTITLE" / >

Thanks, I appreciate your reply, but I'd like to use the h1 tag and sifr. I'd rather not assign a class to it if I can avoid doing so.

Is there any possible way to pull this tag out?

mm if you want to use hi then why not add a h1 tag around the dnn title call in the ascx file that should work

Apart from that the Beginning DotNetNuke Skinning and Design book has information about it. go to your local bookstore and read up on it, or buy the book ;)

and dnncreative has a tutorial on it, at least if you want to watch 7 videos and 54 minuteson one simpel task than can be explained ina  few lines ( btw its a pay site )

Thanks. I usually use a class but didn't want to in this case.

Using this: <h1><dnn:TITLE runat="server" id="dnnTITLE"/></h1> worked fine.

 

As a designer, DNN is very frustrating to deal with.
