New skin looks very barren & without images

I recently uploaded a custom skin (no containers yet) to DNN and when I loaded it, it looks nothing like the HTML & CSS I created. It like FF when I turn CSS off and see only text basically - is this normal? Or have I done something incorrect so far that makes this happen?

Thanks!

Jeff

Re: New skin looks very barren & without images

Can't say without seeing it, but did you make this yourself, or is it a commercial or third party skin that is supposed to be complete? There's small chance that the designer placed much of the styling in the container style sheets if it was intended to be used as a single package, but then why aren't the containers uploaded yet?

Start by describing the skin package.. where did  you get it.

Re: New skin looks very barren & without images

Thanks for the reply - this is a skin I am creating, or trying to create. I layed it out in HTML & CSS and I packaged it all, then uploaded it to DNN. The structure is somewhat there as I can see the text where my logo is supposed to be (image replacement with CSS) and all the tokens are showing up as they are meant to, but none of the images or tabular structure is being displayed. I only created the skin for now, as I will deal with the containers after I get this down. Is this a problem that I have to upload the containers at the same time as the skin?

Thanks!

The first thing I would check is your file paths.

All taken care of - I was uploading it thru the Host not thru the Admin, that did the trick.

Thanks!
