Width property on CSS clas doesn' t affet the backround image width on a custom dnn skin

Hi to all,

i have developed a custom skin for my dnn portal and using a css class containing a backround image that is applied to a table cell on the aspx page.

I  set the width to 100% cause i want the image to be stretched but the  image width doesn't seem to be affected. The  table width on the aspx page has been set to 100% and it contains only the one cell that the css class is applied to.
The image width is not affected even if absolute values such as 300px, 400px, ... are used.

Any ideas about affecting the image width and stretch it to the 100% of the table cell?

Re: Width property on CSS clas doesn' t affet the backround image width on a custom dnn skin

This isn't possible with the background property. Image tag will resize to 100% of its containing tag with width="100%".
Getting the image to act as if its a background  is a lot harder and involves useing absolute positioning and z-index as it has to overlap the content,

not for the faint hearted... you have been warned.
