Admin role is sufficient to Grant access to all admin areas.

If the user (or his email address) shall be taken as sender in Registration messages etc., you need to select the new user in Admin >> Site Settings

thanks Leupold,
i went to Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings> Other Settings.. there i selected the new user account from the Administrator dropdown.. so the mails will taken this email id?? u r rite.. i did it.. thanks for the info.. otherwise i would have forgotton...
