creating a custom module 

when i compile my custom module this massage is thrown and it doesnt make dll file in bin folder(dotnetnuke/bin):

a project with an output type of class library cannot be started directly

how should i compile my custom module?

Don't click on "RUN", use build project.

Regarding the placement of the dll file, there are multiple tricks to get them into the bin folder. Easiest one to explain is to copy it by hand, otherwise study some dnn3.x source modules
