Creating Modules for 2.1.2

Can someone point me to any documentation that explains the process of creating a new module in version 2.1.2.  I have a client I need to support that cannot upgrade and needs to add new functionality.

Re: Creating Modules for 2.1.2

creating a module for ddn2 is pretty mnuch the same as dnn3 except dnn2 has less interface requirements - best way to approach it is to look at one of the dnn2 core modules such as text/html this will give you the base template. Dnn2 modules must Inherit DotNetNuke.PortalModuleControl. Apart from that it is fairly easy to code a module. Rather then write a module check out

there are still a good list of free modules for dnn2 and most are with source. Find one that fits nearest to what you want to do then mod it.
