Global.asax.vb and Login.ascx.vb

Hello,

My manager obtained what we believe to be the most current version of DotNetNuke's portal.  When I open the project up in MS Visual Studio 2005, I get a number of errors mainly in Global.asax.vb and Login.ascx.vb objects not being declared.  I believe I can find out what to inherit or import but when I declare the dim object, I don't know what variables to pass to the procedure(s).  An example of an object not being declared in Global.asax.vb  is GetSetting in UserModuleBase.vb.  I added "Imports DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules" but don't know what to pass the GetSettings procedure or routine when I dim it as an object.

Is anyone experiencing the same issues?  At the risk of asking for too much, is there a way to obain a corrected version of Global.asax.vb and Login.ascx.vb?

Thanks,
Joel

Re: Global.asax.vb and Login.ascx.vb

It's more likely that there is nothing wrong with these files.  Your VS2005 solution is probably not setup correctly so the project references are not working.

Re: Global.asax.vb and Login.ascx.vb

As mentioned above I am 99.99999% sure that the issue is simply in the solution configuration.

Ensure that for your project references that the reference to DotNetNuke.dll is correct and not listed as broken.
