"Debugger Users" group...
Hi,

Strange issue here, was hoping for some help.

Using VS2003, IIS, SQL2005, DNN3.3.7 all on XP Pro.
DNN runs just fine in the browser AND I can compile the whole DNN project as well as my own modules.
Web.config is set for debugging.

When I run from WITHIN VS2003, I get this:

"unable to start debugging on the web server.
You do not have permissions to debug the server.
"Varify that you are a member of the "Debugger Users" group on the server"

Just for now, I have add ALL users to the "Debugger Users" group.

Still get the error. Cannot get into debug mode in VS2003 at all.

So, what have I done wrong? What am I missing here? :-)
I know it's something....

Thanks

Re: "Debugger Users" group...
Timo, I've temporarily added ALL users just to see if I can run DNN in debug mode.
I've checked permissions on every folder and virtual dir as well as members of all groups...

So far, no luck. DNN3.3.7 will only run directly from IE and not from VS2003.

On my other stand alone machine (same config except SQLServer2000 not 2005), DNN3.3.7 runs just fine, even in debug mode.

I'll consider ANY ideas, so don't be shy guys :-)

Cheers,

Lindsay

Re: "Debugger Users" group...

I have this problems in debugging my web project in VISTA.
My solution is:
In Internet Option, try to add your web address in trusted zone, then set trusted zone to the lowest security level.
