Customize register page 

I want to create a customize user registration page, and i want to change the layout,

any one can give me some sugguestions?

Hmmm - have a look at the Register.ascx and Register.ascx.vb files in the source code they might give you a place to start. 

But not if you are looking at dnn 4.4.x support - in which case you would need to have a look at the ManageUser.ascx file.

Both are found in the Admin folder - in the Security or Users subfolders.

where do i change the code in manageuser.ascx if say.... i would add city as additional required registration information?

Umm - you dont really need to.

You can change the required fields in the user profile manager - and also force these fields to be displayed on the Registration page.

This is assuming you are using dnn 4.4.x -

thx for your quick reply...

I'm new to dotnetnuke and recently i got tasks to modify the required information for user to register.
today i've managed to know that you can add additional properties for user to register and set those properties to be required.. and also appear in the registration form which is set in the user account setting.

the problem is now.. i want to modify not the user profile which is for example : first name, last name, city, telephone..etc

but..

i want to modify the Preferred User Information which now only consists of: User Name, First Name, Last Name, Display Name and Email Address.

say i want to add to the Preferred User Information, Telephone and Country as required informations for user when they register.. or remove Last Name for example

this i would say require a lil bit of modifying either the registration.ascx or manageuser.ascx like you said earlier..

could you please enlight me how to do this in dotnetnuke 4.4.1

should i have to modify the code.. could you give me clue where to start?...??
