Use a DNN module without DNN
I recently found a DNN module called WebMailPro (http://www.longnhi.com/Default.aspx?alias=www.longnhi.com/webmail)

However, I do not have DNN to install this module into.  Instead, is it possible to run this module, without DNN?  Have you tried this before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Use a DNN module without DNN

if it's a dotnetnuke module, then it can't be ran outside dotnetnuke as all modules inherit from our PortalModuleBase namespace. If you're looking for something like that to use in a normal asp.net site , perhaps http://www.devmail.net/ or one of the http://www.advancedintellect.com/productlist.aspx components are better suited.

Re: Use a DNN module without DNN
You have the source code to DNN, so if installing DNN is a non-starter, you _COULD_ make it work...  You'd need to create your own variant of the base class, and properly code for each item in the interface that the module may call...  But it would seem like a lot of work compared to simply installing DNN alongside whatever other web app you use.
