Accessing application properties from scheduler

I've created a scheduler task that will query my database of projects and create an index on disk.  I need to specify the directory of the physical path.  In a module I would use this code:

string path = global.Application.Request.MapPath("~");

However, since the scheduler isn't part of a page view, I don't have access to the global or application object. How do I get to the globals object?

Thanks, Tim

Re: Accessing application properties from scheduler

I have the same exact issue so I was wondering if there was a solution for this.  In my case, I'm trying to create a scheduler task that creates a file and attaches to an email that is sent out to a user.  I'm having a problem creating a file as I can't get access to a server path that I can use to put the new created file.  Thanks.

Re: Accessing application properties from scheduler

If scheduler is part of http request you can use httpcontext object.

Kind regards,

Primoz
