how to send news alert mails to subscibers when changing the content of a text/html module? 
Hi my dear dnn frnds,
i want to send email notifications to the subscribers whenever the content in the text/html module of the home page is changed.
hw to find out when the content of a particular text/html module is changed? if i can find out this, i can send . How can i download it?? can anyone plz tell me hw to do it??

You might want to look at FeedMailer:

http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=7838

You could syndicate the HTML content and use FeedMailer to allow people to subscribe to the syndication. They would receive an email whenever the RSS feed is updated.

yikers.. the whole page is buggered up now

Try this:

go to the site getyourowntots dot com and look for a module called HTMLText s see if that posts without stuffing up the page.

I'll second the feedmailer suggestion. Not only could you feed the text,html module but almost anything else on your site.
