Is it possible to edit the login name of administrator account? 
How to edit the login name of administrator account?
am using dnn 3.2.1 version. i have created a child portal and gave my name as username, and a password instead of the default admin & admin. now i want to change the username. but its not editable. is there a way to edit the username, so that i can login with that name?? i can add a new user account. but that doesnt display the admin tab after logging in.. plz help me..

Did you add the "Administrators Role" to the new user you created?  That's what I did and the admin tab displays perfectly.

When logged in as host, I clicked "Users," then "Manage Roles" (the little lock icon) and then added the administrator role to the new admin....

thanks my dear frnd.. i created a user account with the desired name, and added Administrator Role to that User. Now i can see the Admin Tab. thanks my dear..

if the new user shall be general portal admin, don't forget to assign it in Admin :: Site Settings!

hey leupold, my dear frnd.., i didnt get u!! what to do with Admin > Site Settings > . i want to give this user admin privilege. So by adding Administrator role is enough??? can u please explain a little bit?? I didnt see anything in the Site Settings.. wil i have to login with the new user account and wil have to got Admin> Settings?? please help me..
