Intercepting Module Deletion

Can I intercept and implement some database processing when a module container is deleted from a web page ?

How do I intercept such a module deletion ?

Thanks

Re: Intercepting Module Deletion

I asked for this months ago that DNN expose an IDeletable Interface which gets called prior to deletion so a module could do any disk cleanup or database cleanup prior to deletion. Of course this would have to be when deleted from the recyle bin.

The answer was given to use cascading deletes, but that does not take care of disk files, and could be that the Admin does not want the data deleted like cases where the data is across multiple instances of a module.

Re: Intercepting Module Deletion
Sounds like I am out of luck then ....with respect to being able to remove some SQL Server data when the module is removed and at the time the module is removed.   Suppose I will have to write a background task to see if any SQL Server module exists for which there is no corresponding ModuleID.   This is certainly not a preferred solution.

This would be a nice feature to have.
